PCI Touch panels & controllers
The pattern and trace design of projected capacitive touch panels are according to the detecting and calculation method of the projected capacitive touch controllers. We recommend the customers to use a set of PCI touch panel and controllers for better performance. AMT provide the total solution for Projected Capacitive Input, PCI touch. By the integration with the touch panels, controllers and also the drivers, customer will install and operate easily when implementing the projected capacitive touch solution.
There are two options for AMT Projected Capacitive Touch Solution:
1. Projected capacitive touch panel and control board, they are separate units. We provide the projected capacitive touch panel for the size from 8.4” to 15.6”. PenMount provide different control board for different size of touch panels. The touch panels are been divided by below categories :
- Medium-Large Size : 8.0” to 11.9”
- Large Size : 12.0” to 15.1”
- Extra-Large Size : 15.6”
2. Projected capacitive touch panel with COF controller, the PCI COF. COF is Chip-on-Flex, the controller IC is mounted on the FPC (Flexible Printed Circuit) tail. We currently provide the PCI COF for 3.5”, 4.3”, 5.7”, 6.5” and 7” with 1.1mm cover glass. The COF PCI is easy to integrate for mobile devise, because it needs less space in the system.
