Resistive Touch Controller
The controller that AMT’s resistive touch screen works with is PenMount, a series firstly launched in 1992. PenMount series provides customers with the total solution covering drivers and controller IC. Whatever the size is, it works perfectly with 4-, 5- and 8-wire resistive touch screen and capacitive touch screen and further brings the features of your product into full play.
PenMount controller chip supports both RS-232 and USB interfaces while PenMount control board supports RS-232 or USB, or USB+RS-232 combo. For hardware, there are various board and connector types designed to meet different requirements. For software, the PenMount drivers support various system platforms such as Microsoft Windows, Linux, QNX, and others.
