Have PenMount resistive touch controllers passed ESD testing?

PenMount resistive touch controllers coupled with an appropriate mechanical design can meet IEC61000-4-2 ESD testing standards: Air Discharge 15KV, and Contact Discharge 8KV.

If I need to extend the length of the RS-232 or USB cable, what is the maximum tolerated distance between the PenMount resistive touch controller and the computer?

1. RS-232 Cable: About 12 meters. 2. USB Cable: About 3 meters.

PenMount control boards support both the USB and RS-232 interfaces. Can both interfaces be connected to the computer and used at the same time?

No. When both interfaces are connected, only the default setting - USB - will work.

Why is the cursor not working accurately after the driver is installed?

After the driver is installed, please perform calibration first to make sure the cursor works accurately.

If there are two or more monitors connected to the Windows desktop, can multiple touch devices be connected?

Yes. We can provide an instructions manual to help you set up multiple monitors.

Can two PenMount devices be supported simultaneously in WinCE and Linux?

No. WinCE does not support two or more devices. Linux can only support one PenMount device. If you have a special requirement for two PenMount devices, please contact our sales staff.

Does PenMount's Linux Driver support "Screen Rotation", "Simulated Mouse" and "Simulated Keys"?

Yes. Driver V2.3.0.15 or later versions can support this function. PenMount's Linux Driver supports xrandr V1.2. PenMount's Linux Driver V2.0 or later versions can support these functions.

If the hardware platform is ARM or MIPS and the system is Linux or Android, can PenMount provide drivers?
