To provide customers with high-quality and dependable products, AMT persists in enhancing our technology and searching for even more reliable materials to upgrade our products. We are happy to share that after our meticulous long-term research and design, we have significantly improved our temperature and weather resistance for standard AMT PCAP touch panel products. The operating temperature is extended to -40˚C ~ +85˚C, and the storage temperature is extended to -50˚C ~ +90˚C! We are confident that this improvement meets customers' expectations and compliances with the market trend!

Existing customers, partners, suppliers, correspondent banks joined us for the new product launch and manufacturing floor tour. Nearly 100 participants joined the event and witnessed AMT's development through products display and posters exhibitions. The theme of the event is "The Sky is the limit." We want to demonstrate our determination to develop a better human-machine interface and lead humankind to a better future.

17 Feb, 2022AMT provides excellent Optical Bonding service. Our optical bonding uses our own Lucent Gel solid optically clear adhesive (SOCA). The base material is silicone, which has excellent weather resistance, yellowing resistance, UV resistance, and impact resistance. It can improve the reliability of industrial and medical displays, and meet a wide range of application requirements such as outdoor, marine, vehicle...etc. Optical bonding can completely laminate the touch panel and the LCD panel so that there is no air gap between the touch panel and the LCD. This can reduce parallax, decrease the reflection of external light sources, and improve the penetration rate of the backlight. These all contribute to an even better optical solution for LCD monitors! We will introduce some of the optical bonding services AMT offers in this newsletter.

27 Oct, 2021Many outdoor applications adopt projected capacitive (PCAP) touch technology. However, these applications are usually constantly under sunlight. Extended exposure to ultraviolet (UV) damages the ITO film of the touch panel, causing the touch panel to have different degrees of yellowing, hazing, bubbling, or cracking. These deteriorations may cause appearance defects or even reduce the light transmittance of the touch panel. If there are bubbles, they would even affect the operation. AMT has launched a projected capacitive touch panel with superb anti-UV performance to provide an outstanding touch solution for outdoor settings!

On the other hand, major chip manufacturer TSMC has just announced on August 25th that the prices of all semiconductor manufacturing processes will increase by 20%, which is a considerable shock to IC designers. AMT is also facing tight delivery pressure for touch controllers, but our efforts and perseverance have begun to bear fruit. We are catching up on our orders and will ship our products as soon as they are ready.
