Does the PenMount PCAP controller support the Water Handling function?
Yes. When there is a small amount of water or moving water on the touch panel surface, the PenMount PCAP touch controller can filter out false touch signals. When a small amount of water is on the surface of the touch panel, the touch panel can operate normally in the dry area. When a large amount of water is detected, the touch function can be automatically turned off. After the water on the surface of the touch panel is wiped dry, it will automatically resume normal operation.
If the Water Handling function is enabled, the System Reference (SR) must be built manually for each PenMount PCAP product. The System Reference is established to allow the controller to increase the temperature change range when the Water Handling function is turned on.
