Sigma Touch Display Solutions

With the growing application of touch displays in the market, the interface and signal pin definitions of LCD panels from different manufacturers vary, making signal integration time-consuming and labor-intensive for customers. The Sigma S Series Touch Display Solution (TDS) is a new product AMT is launching this year, integrating LVDS, touch panel, and LED driver control signals into a unified connector. This allows customers to install our Sigma TDS easily and conveniently into their systems.

The Sigma TDS utilizes industrial-grade LCD panels with two brightness options: 500 and 1000 nits. This provides customers with the flexibility to define their products. The industrial-grade LCD also features an LED lifetime of 50,000 or 70,000 hours. The Sigma S Series TDS is available in sizes of 7”, 10.1”, 12.1”, 15.6”, and 21.5”, and is equipped with an anti-UV PCAP touch panel. The surface glass is chemically strengthened, offering features like noise resistance and glove support. The Sigma TDS has two bonding options between the LCD and touch panels: air bonding or optical bonding. The optical bonding process features Lucent Gel, which is specifically designed for high-end applications, particularly in outdoor, semi-outdoor, industrial, medical, and transportation environments.

Green Display Solutions

As the ePaper (EPD) market continues to grow, we are expanding our comprehensive Green Display solutions. AMT offers various value-added services for the ePaper market:

• Adding a front light guide and light bar to ePaper, ensuring screen visibility in low-light environments. Our unique front light guide technology enhances ePaper brightness and contrast while reducing power consumption.
• Adding IR cut film to ePaper to reduce temperatures by approximately 6°C, preventing ePaper from overheating and failing to refresh in high-temperature environments.
• Providing UV protection for ePaper to prevent yellowing or cracking.
• Bonding glass, touch panels, or other protective layers to ePaper.

Dual-Screen Optical Bonding

Some applications require the integration of two LCD panels or touch displays on the same glass, known as dual-screen optical bonding. AMT will showcase a demo unit with two PCAP touch displays optically bonded onto a single piece of glass, meeting the needs of modern product designs!

Outdoor Open Frame Touch Monitor

AMT’s outdoor Open Frame touch monitors are designed for outdoor applications and offer a wide range of functional options, including anti-UV touch panels, high-brightness and wide-temperature LCD panels, waterproof designs, IR cut film to help cool products, high-durability and impact-resistant optical bonding technology, Lucent Gel OCA, and excellent touch controller firmware capabilities, all catering to the demands of outdoor use. Furthermore, AMT will launch four standard Sigma X Series Open Frame touch monitors that meet CE certification requirements, shortening the product certification process and ensuring your project meets its launch schedule.

Large-Size Resistive Multi-Touch Solution

This year, we are launching the 21.5” Large-Size Resistive Multi-Touch (RMT) solution, paired with the PenMount PM6602 control board. AMT’s RMT solution is resistant to noise interference, ensuring accurate touch performance, and supports multi-touch and gesture control, making it ideal for heavy industry HMI and specialized systems.

Lucent Gel OCA

Lucent Gel is a proprietary solid OCA developed by AMT, made from silicone. Available in thicknesses ranging from 0.2mm to 1.8mm, it is suitable for various types of LCD panels. Lucent Gel offers exceptional weather and UV resistance, as well as excellent shock absorption, reducing the impact of external forces, making it ideal for high-end applications in outdoor, medical, and transportation sectors.
