AMT Sigma Touch Display Sizes Now Fully Available
28 Mar, 2025In August last year, AMT launched the Sigma Touch Display Solution (TDS), a high-spec touch display module designed to meet diverse customer needs and reduce development time.
The Sigma series touch displays are now available in a full range of mainstream sizes, including 7”, 10.1”, 12.1”, 15.6”, and 21.5”. The Sigma TDS is an integrated solution, designed with features tailored to meet diverse environments, including outdoor, industrial, medical, and commercial applications. The series also offers diverse options with the Open Frame Monitor (OFM) solution, featuring the same high-quality design and CE certification for a seamless market launch.
Sigma Integrated Design
The core advantage of Sigma touch displays is the integration of LCD panels with AMT’s high-quality projected capacitive (PCAP) touch panels and controllers into a single module, using a unified connector and optional 51-pin cable. Sigma TDS features industrial-grade LCD panels with LVDS output and built-in LCD and backlight drivers, with key features including:
- Integrated LVDS, touch control, and LED driver control signals with a unified PIN definition
- Reduced hardware and firmware design efforts for system integrators, shortening development cycles
- Simplified supply chain and lower inventory management costs
- Passed comprehensive reliability testing to ensure performance and stability
- Mechanical design flexibility, with options for different LCD brightness levels (500 nits or 1000 nits)
- Wide operating temperature range of -20°C ~ 70°C or -30°C ~ 85°C
- Long-term supply commitment
High-Quality Touch Solution
Sigma touch displays adopt AMT’s high-quality and highly reliable touch solutions, equipped with advanced firmware technology and wide operating and storage temperature ranges, making them suitable for diverse environments. We also provide the user-friendly PenMount utility for fast firmware parameter adjustments. AMT’s touch solution features include:
- UV-resistant design that meets ASTM G154-Cycle 1 - 1,000 hour testing standards
- Touch panel surface made with chemically strengthened cover glass
- ESD and EMC protection design that complies with IEC 61000 standards
- Supports operation with thick gloves or thick glass
- Optional tape bonding or optical bonding between LCD and touch panel
Sigma Open Frame Touch Monitors
To meet customers’ needs for open frame solutions, we also launched the Sigma Open Frame Touch Monitors, which inherit many of Sigma TDS’s advantages and include AMT’s self-designed AD Board. Sigma OFMs are CE certified and meet UL requirements. Key features include:
- Full flat open frame touch monitors
- Multiple signal inputs including VGA, HDMI, DP, etc.
- VESA standard mounting holes for easy assembly
- Supports Soft OSD functionality, allowing users to easily make adjustments
- CE certified
