24 Jun, 2025Electrostatic discharge (ESD) is a potential risk that cannot be overlooked in many electronic products, especially in dry environments or applications involving high-speed friction. When the ESD from the environment or human body exceeds what an electronic component can withstand, it may cause component damage or system failure. Understanding the industry's need for ESD protection, AMT has developed and manufactured a proprietary anti-ESD ink that effectively dissipates static electricity, prevents ESD from reaching critical components, reduces the risk of damage to electronic products, and provides long-lasting ESD protection for a wide range of applications.

28 May, 2025AMT has launched a new water-resistant projected capacitive (PCAP) touch button, which we call the Aqua Switch. While standard PCAP touch products offer basic water resistance, they can still experience false touches when exposed to large amounts of water or running water. To address this issue, we have redesigned the button’s design, structure, hardware, and firmware to reduce liquid noise interference, ensuring that the PCAP touch buttons remain responsive and accurate even under heavy flowing water.

25 Feb, 2025Projected capacitive (PCAP) touch panels are predominantly designed with a true-flat surface and rounded corners, offering an aesthetically pleasing appearance that is highly favored by customers. The working principle of PCAP touch panels relies on conductive touch detection, which makes them susceptible to interference from water or noise. For applications that require zero tolerance for false touches and only single-point touch functionality, resistive touch panels are also a viable technical choice. In recent years, some industrial and medical applications have sought to adopt true-flat resistive touch panels as an alternative to PCAP touch panels. AMT’s true-flat resistive touch panel (Framed Touch) combines high reliability with an elegant true-flat design, providing another excellent option!
Read MoreAMT Outdoor ePaper Solution Success Story
22 Jan, 2025With the growing global emphasis on environmental protection and energy conservation, ePaper (EPD) has become increasingly popular in public equipment applications. The key feature of ePaper is its low power consumption—it only uses power when images change and consumes no power during static displays. This characteristic makes ePaper displays the preferred choice for smart cities and outdoor information displays. AMT has collaborated with customers to overcome multiple challenges and successfully apply ePaper display solutions to smart bus stops.
