Putting Environmental Protection into Practice

AMT continues to assess the potential impact of its production and operations on the climate and natural environment. We take an overall approach to carbon emissions, energy use, process improvement, circular resource use, and product life cycles. Through data management, we identify areas for improvement and gradually reduce the environmental impact of our operations while maintaining quality and production efficiency.

• Carbon Emissions Management: AMT has completed greenhouse gas inventories in accordance with ISO 14064-1 for four consecutive years and established an annual emissions data management process. This provides an important basis for energy conservation, carbon reduction, energy management, and the transition to net zero.
• Climate Change Strategy: We understand the potential impact of future climate change and have therefore included climate risks in our management. By 2035, AMT aims to reduce energy use by 15%, cut greenhouse gas emissions by 20%, and increase the share of renewable electricity to at least 5%.
• Energy Efficiency Improvement: We continue to improve the efficiency of compressed-air, air-conditioning, chilled-water and cleanroom systems, lighting, and production equipment while tracking energy use and energy-saving results.
• Circular Use of Resources: We reduce the use of protective films, solvents, and other supplies while promoting the reuse of packaging materials, waste sorting and recycling, and water resource management.
• Green Product Design: We include reduced material use, energy efficiency, and recyclability in product design and require raw materials to comply with environmental regulations such as RoHS and REACH.

Fulfilling Our Social Responsibility

• Safe and Healthy Workplace: AMT implements ISO 45001 occupational health and safety management, regularly provides employee health checkups, and organizes health talks, employee sports days, and family days. We also provide on-site physician services.
• Talent Development: We provide training in professional skills, quality management, leadership, and ESG. We also organize team-building programs to strengthen communication across departments and develop managers and key talent.
• Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: We provide fair hiring and promotion opportunities and continue to develop female managers. We also provide foreign employees with bilingual information, support for learning Chinese, and assistance with daily life.
• Human Rights and Employee Communication: We prohibit unlawful workplace conduct, discrimination, bullying, and sexual harassment. Through labor-management meetings, suggestion boxes, and dedicated contact channels, we protect employees’ rights to express their views and file complaints.
• Active Social Engagement: We continue to support disadvantaged groups, education, medical assistance, and environmental protection. We also encourage employees to volunteer, building a culture in which everyone takes part in community service.

Strengthening Corporate Governance

AMT continues to build a governance structure with clear roles and responsibilities, transparent information, and traceable processes. Through material topic analysis, performance management, ethical business practices, and risk control, the company can identify factors that may affect operations at an early stage and set specific management goals in response.

• Sustainability Governance Structure: The Board of Directors oversees the direction of sustainable development, while the Sustainability Development Committee coordinates climate, talent, supply chain, and ESG performance management.
• Material Topic Management: Through stakeholder communication, AMT collects, assesses, and prioritizes material topics. The results provide a basis for annual sustainability goals, performance management, and risk management.
• Linking Performance and Accountability: Carbon management, information security, talent development, and supply chain sustainability are included in senior executives’ performance evaluations. Goals and improvement results are reviewed regularly.
• Business Integrity and Risk Control: AMT implements anti-corruption, legal compliance, and whistleblower protection systems to build a transparent, fair, and responsible corporate governance culture.
• Sustainable Supply Chain Management: Through supplier ESG commitments, questionnaires, responsible mineral surveys, risk classification, and audits, AMT improves supply chain transparency and stability.
